Another 'loft find'. This was in a pile of seven-inchers I found in a box with a bunch of fanzines, trading cards, Beanie Babies, bus tickets and other useless shit. I gave each of the sevens the once over with this blog in mind and, I'll be honest with you, this is pretty much the only one that made the grade. The rest are going to charity so that somebody else can pick them up and maybe get excited enough to start a stupid blog.

I know pretty much fuck all about Die Kreuzen except for the fact that Albini dug them. I do know that I appreciate a fine Wire cover, and this is one. The flip is a Germs cover. Enjoy.

Big Black cover Wire. This came free with the Headache EP. It's Friday night. I have nothing more to say. Enjoy.

A nice smart package from Austin's No Lie records. The sleeve is silk-screened and the scan doesn't really do it justice. The record, another great from the Texan kings of the cover version, features a rattling version of Wire's pink punk classic 12XU. Enjoy.
